Feria Internacional del Libro - Puerto Rico  (FIL-PR©) www.filpuertorico.org and its English counterpart The International Book Fair - Puerto Rico (IBF-PR©) [www.ibf-puertorico.net] (IBF-PR©) – now in its 18th year of operation – is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The International Book Fair - Puerto Rico (IBF-PR) is one of the leading book and author event for the international publishing industry in the Caribbean. It’s the best place to discover new titles and authors, conduct business, network, learn the latest trends and interact with booksellers, librarians, retailers, publishers, rights, licensing, and book industry professionals.

In 2016 Mr. José Carvajal, President and Founder, Dalia Nieves Albert, Executive Vice President and Co-Founder and Edwin (Rodd) Rodriguez VP and Co-Founder, have expanded its mission and vision to develop an integrated cultural network that will benefit Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and affiliates around the world. As a result, both FIL-PR and IBF-PR have developed four independent and fully integrated publishing, educational, ecological and cultural components. These are:

The International Book Fair - Puerto Rico (IBF-PR) is one of the leading book and author event for the international publishing industry. It’s a multi-purpose place to discover new titles and authors, conduct business and network, and learn the latest trends. IBF-PR is the largest gathering of booksellers, librarians, retailers, publishers, rights, licensing, and book industry professionals in the Caribbean.

II. IBF-Puerto Rico / Digital

The International Book Fair - Puerto Rico (IBF-PR) computer-aided design (CAD) will be launched in 2016 using computer systems to aid in the exhibiting and selling books, films-based-on-books, and book-related merchandise through fully interactive functions linked to eCommerce. It's primary goal is to be the digital go-to place for book-related resources for the Caribbean, U.S. Hispanic-American and the world. And all of it will be linked to a database powered by Google Analytics.
